Miss Bugs has continued their Do No Harm series with a new series of works and exhibition with the Jealous Gallery. Their new installation 'The Dispensary', blends the worlds of modern art, fast food and big pharma, exploring themes like addiction and consumerism.

The installation features more than 6000 supersized tablets and capsules spewing out from a ‘sentient’ vending machine, including 800 poured resin capsules containing discarded junk food wrappers from the likes of Monster Munch Hubba Bubba and McDonalds, and pills branded with fast food slogans.

Working with Miss Bugs we created a bespoke packaging solution for all pills/capsules in the series. A solution focusing on both showcasing and obscuring the product itself behind a translucent lid. Adding mystery and allure what iteration design each product contains. The final outcome, again, sits somewhere between prescription and cosmetic.
